Gareth Bale won't be glued to Paris Saint Germain games in preparation for Real Madrid's Champions League tie - because he's rather watch the Masters.
The Real Madrid forward is a long-term target for United, and Jose Mourinho admitted last summer he would be keen to bring the Welshman to Old Trafford if he was available.
There are suggestions that the La Liga giants could be ready to offload Bale, who has made just 18 appearances this term as part of another injury-hit season.
But he scored twice against Deportivo this weekend and after the final whistle was asked about Real Madrid's preparations to face Neymar and PSG in the Champions League in February.
But when asked about the French side, Bale told ESPN FC: "I don't really watch much football, I'd rather watch the golf to be honest."
Bale has come under fire from some sections of the Spanish club's support, but was cheered off after his performance against Deportivo.
"Yeah, instead of whistles, which is always good," he added.
"It would have been nice to have stayed on to get the hat-trick, but the most important thing is always to get the victory and to try and get some confidence back in the team."
